Review Link Generator

Google Review Link Generator: Link, QR Code and Poster

Open your business in Google Maps, copy the address bar link and paste it here. You get the direct link that opens the review form, a QR code for the counter and a poster you can print. Everything is computed in your browser.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

The long link looks like google.com/maps/place/…/data=…!1s0x…:0x…. A Place ID starts with ChIJ. Short maps.app.goo.gl links: open them first, then copy the address bar.

Example with a made-up business. Paste your link to replace it.

How it works

  1. Open your business in Google MapsSearch for the business in Google Maps and click its name so the card opens. The link in the address bar now contains the place identifier this tool reads. Short links like maps.app.goo.gl work too once you open them.
  2. Paste the linkPaste it in the field. The generator turns the identifier into the Place ID and builds the direct link to the review form. If you already have a Place ID, paste that instead.
  3. Copy, download, printCopy the link for emails and text messages, download the QR code as PNG or SVG, or print the poster with your business name and the code. Test the link once in a private window before you print.

What a Google review link is and why the Place ID matters

The direct review link is a fixed Google address plus your Place ID. When a customer opens it while signed in to a Google account, the review form appears right away, with no searching and no scrolling through the profile. The Place ID is a code that starts with ChIJ. Google Maps keeps the same identifier inside the long link in the address bar, which is where this page takes it from. No search or API is involved, so the link you get is built from the page you were looking at.

QR code and poster for the counter

The QR code encodes the same review link, so a phone camera opens the form in one scan. Download it as PNG for a print shop or as SVG when a designer needs a clean file. The poster is a letter or A4 page with your business name, a short request and the code, laid out for the counter, the door or the table. The code is static: if your listing gets a new Place ID after a move, generate and print a new one.

Questions

Does the link work for a service area business without an address?

Yes. The identifier sits in the Maps link whether or not the profile shows a street address. Open the business from search results in Google Maps and paste the address bar link as usual.

Can I type the business name instead of pasting a link?

No. Turning a name into a listing needs a request to Google's servers with an API key, and this page sends nothing anywhere. Opening the business in Google Maps takes a few seconds and the link is then exact, with no risk of picking a namesake.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. The link you paste, the Place ID, the QR code and the poster are computed in your browser. There is no account, no upload and no server. Analytics runs only if you accept it.
